Colin Price Heasley is from Cortland, NY. He holds an MFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University and his satire has appeared in McSweeney’s and The New Yorker.

He works as a copywriter for Razorfish in Los Angeles, and has previously written for brands including Equinox, Dash, and Samsung.

Colin has been a BuzzFeed fellow and a Reductress contributor. He is an alumnus of the Tin House and Bread Loaf workshops in fiction, and his short stories are forthcoming in Columbia Journal and McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, where he is a runner-up for the 2025 Stephen Dixon Award in Short Fiction.

He currently lives in Los Angeles with his partner, the jazz musician Michael Mayo.
